Twinsters explores the meaning of family and connection through a story that would have been impossible just 10 years ago without the creation of YouTube and Facebook.
Twinsters - Martini and a Movie Review
Adopted from South Korea, raised on different continents & connected through social media, Samantha & Anaïs believe that they are twin sisters separated at birth.
We had to see this movie, of course, since we're twins! But even if we weren't, this documentary would have kept us engaged. It's not just about two souls finding each other, it's about a moment in time when technology is connecting us all on a higher level. And so many questions! Are they or aren't they sisters? If they are, how will the time and distance allow them to relate to each other now? And if they're not...what then?
"It's like going into a wormhole and going to a parallel space. It has nothing to do with anything you could have ever imagined."
Twinsters - Trailer
The Twinsters meet the Twinsters.
We knew we had to meet them! And we had a perfect opportunity after their world premiere. We waited...and waited...and waited...and then they came out of the theater and saw us - we all started laughing! They were kind enough to take a photo with us - goes right into our scrapbook! #martiniandamovie
